Version 1.0 · Last updated: 24 August 2025
These General Terms and Conditions (“General Terms”) apply to all users of the I-GTM platform, including schools, parents, guardians, students, suppliers, and other third parties. They form the shared legal framework that governs all contracts and bookings via the I-GTM platform.
These General Terms are to be read together with one of the following audience-specific terms:
1. About I-GTM
I-GTM Ltd (“I-GTM”, “we”, “us”, “our”) provides a software platform enabling schools, parents and guardians to record student travel details and arrange transport with licensed providers. I-GTM acts as a disclosed introducer and is not a licensed operator of transport services. The safe and legal operation of vehicles rests solely with the licensed transport provider or driver partner.
2. Definitions
- Customer or You: Any person, organisation, or school using I-GTM services.
- Services: All products and services made available by I-GTM, including the booking platform.
- Transport Provider: A coach hire firm, licensed taxi company, or private hire vehicle company.
- Driver Partner: A licensed private-hire driver or Hackney Carriage driver.
- Platform: The I-GTM student whereabouts and travel management software.
- Booking: Any order for transport services made through I-GTM.
3. Data Protection
I-GTM processes personal data in accordance with its Data Protection Policy (available on request or via our website). Schools act as the Data Controller in respect of student travel data; I-GTM acts as the Data Processor. Parents/guardians/students acknowledge that personal data provided for bookings will be shared with relevant transport providers for fulfilment.
I-GTM may process fully anonymised, aggregated travel data for sector-wide insights and planning, in accordance with the Data Protection Policy.
4. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
4.1 Role of I-GTM
I-GTM introduces customers to licensed transport providers but does not provide transport services itself. Contracts for travel are between the booker/passenger and the transport provider.
4.2 Suitability of Providers
I-GTM undertakes reasonable checks on transport providers but cannot guarantee their suitability, reliability, availability, pricing, or performance. Use of any transport provider is at the customer’s own risk.
4.3 Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, I-GTM shall not be liable for: (a) personal injury, death, property damage, or loss arising from acts or omissions of transport providers; (b) missed flights, appointments, or connections caused by delays, traffic, or other unforeseen circumstances; (c) any indirect, special, or consequential losses (including loss of profit, business, opportunity, goodwill, or data).
For consumer bookings, I-GTM’s total liability in respect of any single booking or event shall not exceed the amount paid to I-GTM for that booking. For schools under Hosted Services agreements, separate liability caps apply as set out in the School / Hosted Services Terms.
4.4 Indemnity
Customers agree to indemnify I-GTM against damages, claims, or costs arising from misuse of the platform, misconduct of passengers, or failure to provide accurate booking information.
4.5 Force Majeure
I-GTM shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from events beyond its reasonable control (including but not limited to network failures, severe weather, strikes, epidemics, acts of terrorism, war, or changes in law).
5. Complaints
Complaints should be submitted in writing to support@i-gtm.com within 14 days of the relevant incident. We will acknowledge within 3 working days and aim to respond within 10 working days.
6. Charges and Price Adjustments
- All charges are subject to VAT at the prevailing rate.
- I-GTM will review and increase its fees once per calendar year. Any increase shall be the greater of: (a) the percentage increase in the UK Consumer Price Index (CPI) over the preceding 12 months; or (b) 5%.
- Revised fees will take effect after 30 days’ written notice to schools (B2B) or by publication on the I-GTM platform/website for parents/guardians/students (B2C).
- Continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised fees.
7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These General Terms (and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them) are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
